What is your opinion of the "Latin is Good" magnets that came with TJCL membership this year?
Out of 24 responses:

A: Great idea! They promote Latin and JCL, and my students liked receiving a tangible benefit of their membership in the organization.
B: My students really don't need anything more than a membership card, and we'd like to see dues reduced back to $3.00 per student.

TJCL will go ahead and provide platforms and poles for chapters to use.
We will also put out the old banners at the beginning of the convention. We didn't put these out last year because (1) we don't have one for every school, and (2) many of them are in very poor condition. At any rate, you are free to leave this old banner on display, replace it with one of your own for the Graphic Arts competition, or have no banner at all.
The old banners are, for the most part, made out of felt, about 15" x 18" in size. A wooden dowel slides inside a sleeve at the top, and then ribbon is tied around the dowel so that the banner can be hung on the pole. Here are some photographs:
