Course Selection Clarification
This week, Latin One students are selecting a foreign language course of study for next year, and a couple of issues have come up:
1. Students taking Honors Accelerated Spanish One would enjoy a slight GPA boost not available to students taking Honors Latin Two. We have informed the administration of this loophole, and they're going to close it (i.e., by changing Honors Latin Two to Honors Accelerated Latin Two).
2. It is perfectly fine to sign up for more than one language. In fact, we would like to see more students do this.
3. I'm surprised that this one is floating around, but let me be clear: Latin DOES count as a foreign language for admission to college.
