Guys Read Monday Lunch Book Club--Lower School

Our Monday lunch group of Lower School students has met twice.  In October, we chose our first book:  Beowulf.  In our November meeting, we discussed several different versions of Beowulf, focusing on recent illustrated editions with graphic novel elements.  We chose The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan for our next selection, and we'll discuss that at our December meeting.  The Lightning Thief and its sequels blend mythology with the adventures of a modern teenager, Percy Jackson.  Ms. Vicki Tyler and I are sponsoring this great group.
