There are basically two steps to adding bookmarks to a page. Create the bookmark and Link to the bookmard.

#1 Create the bookmark
  • Go to the location on the webpage that needs to have an invisible mark.
  • Go to the Insert menu and Bookmark
  • Name the bookmark. Keep it simple.

#2 Link to the bookmark

This can be done anywhere on your webpage, or on another webpage. We will assume for this example that it will be at the top of the page as in the example page.

  • Type in the word(s) that will be the link.
  • Highlight the word(s) and click the Hyperlink button
  • Select the Bookmark button
You will see a list of all bookmarks on the page. Click the one you wish to link to and the OK button.
