|
Start, Programs, Microsoft Office Tools, Photo Editor\ Resolution File menu, Properties. For the web/monitor choose 72 to 96 dpi Crop Image Select the part you
want to keep by clicking on the Select button
Image menu, Crop Resize Image Image menu, Resize Always constrain the dimensions of your image (keeps the dimensions in the same ratio.) Make sure the Allow Distortion box is not checked. Resizing from large to small and back to large may make your image get fuzzy. File Type & Image Quality File menu, Save As, More Usually you will select jpg for a photograph. Set the indicator to balance between high quality and file size. Remember that you do not need as high a quality when you are viewing an image on the computer versus printing an image. |
