File Management

Move files into a folder

The easiest way is to Click and Drag.
  • Click on the file you wish to move and drag it to the folder and release the mouse button. In the example on the right, the document is being dragged into the General folder.
  • You can choose several documents and move them simultaneously by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard as you select the files to move.

If you need a new folder, right-click a blank area of the window. From the menu choose New, Folder. Type the name in while the word is still selected (blue).

If you need to move a document to a folder that is up one level in the hierarchy of files, right-click the file you want to move. Select cut from the menu. Click the Up button and choose paste (right-click and choose from the menu.)
Folders can also be moved by the same technique.

You can also accomplish moving files and folders by having two views of your documents open. Ask and I will show you how to do this in person.
