Quick Tips for Internet Explorer 7

Scroll down a page in Internet Explorer & Firefox

Shortcut way - press the Spacebar. Pressing the Spacebar scrolls down a page. You can also use  Shift + Spacebar to scroll up a page.

Of course there are a number of other ways to scroll through a Web page in Internet Explorer (use the keyboard keys, Page Down and Page Up, use the scrollbar, etc.)

Search Through the Address Bar

In the address bar type in the words Find, Go, or ? followed by a space and some keywords. This will perform a quick search using your default search provider.

Example:  Go musowls  is not just a cheer, but is a way to find search results for musowls in your search engine.

Automatically add http://www   and  .com    Internet Explorer & Firefox

You do not have to type in http:// in the address bar anymore.

You can type a word in the Internet Address bar and press CTRL+ENTER to automatically add http://www. and .com on either side of the word.

Example: type slideshare   and click Ctrl+Enter.  You will be taken to the site
