Rutledge Faculty Drop Folders Save Your File Into Your Teacher's Folder You cannot save directly into the Drop Folders. Use the method described below.
Step 1 - Copy your document Step 2 - Go to your teacher's drop folder |

Open My Computer.
Choose Students on 'Titan' (X)

Then choose Drop Folders. In the next Window that opens double-click on your teacher's name |

Step 3 - Paste the File Right-click the appropriate period and choose Paste. You will not be able to open the Period Folders due to permission restrictions. If you want reassurance that your document has been transferred correctly, repeat the steps above to paste your document into the same folder a 2nd time. You will get a message that states the document already exists. Important - read about naming conventions below to make sure this works correctly because these folders are set up to not overwrite a document with the same name. |

Important Notes Naming Your File
You must name your file so that the
teacher can identify it as yours. Check with your teacher, but here
is a suggestion. If some other student names the document crucible.doc and you also name it crucible.doc, you will not be able to paste your document into the teachers folder. You should include your name as part of the document name to prevent problems. Getting Your Document Back - You can't Once you drop your file into the teacher's folder, you can not delete or change it. However, you can put a new document in there with a slightly different name. The best plan is to be sure you are through before you drop the file.

You will open the
teacher's Drop Folder the way indicated above. Resize the Window with the Teacher's Folder
