Burn a CD

If you have Windows 7, open your Documents. Click on the file you wish to burn.

On the toolbar, click Burn. You will be prompted to insert a disc in your CD tray, if you have not already done so. Follow the prompts to complete the task.

If you start with inserting a CD into the disc drive a window will automatically open, asking what you wish to do. We will look at burning files to the CD, but burning music is similar.

When you click Burn files to disc, you may get a formatting window. Click Next.

Once you have located your file, click the Burn button on the toolbar.

The burning will start taking place. It is best not to do any other taxing processes on the computer while it is burning the disc.
