C. Ablative Case Review: Be sure you know these uses of the ablative case. 1. Ablative of Time Brevi tempore urbem vidimus. In a short time we saw the city. 2. Ablative of Means Servi baculis verberabantur. The slaves were being beaten with sticks. 3. Ablative of Agent Liberi a militibus servantur. The children are being saved by the soldiers. 4.
