Ecce Romani Chapter 8 – Notes Latin I A. Verbs 1. Regular Verbs: These endings are used on all regular verbs:

The verb sum and all of its forms are linking verbs; they never take direct objects.

Chapter 8 Notes (continued) C. Vocative = Noun of Address (person or thing called on) In Latin the vocative (singular or plural) will be the same as the nominative, except -us
→ e, and -ius → i.

Adjectives will follow the same chart as the nouns above. Exception: the masculine singular vocative of meus is mi. Examples: 1.
