Review Session for Exam

Review session for all Gill Physical Science classes will be held on Thursday, December 15th 11:30 - 1:30 in the DLH.  NO FOOD, NO DRINK, NO CELL PHONES!  Cell phones will be put in a basket at the front of the DLH.  This is a SILENT review session for you to review your test folders one last time.  If you would like to attend the review session then you MUST be in the DLH at 11:30 -  you may not come late.  If you choose to leave at any point in time, then you will not be allowed to come back to the review session.

Chapter 10 worksheet:

Due BEFORE you leave for Thanksgiving break - by 3:15 pm Tuesday, November 22.  I have posted it to the left for you to download.


Chapter 10 Test:

Will be Tuesday, November 29th for 3rd and 5th Periods and Wednesday, November 30th for 6th and 7th Periods. 


Semester Exam:

Will cover Chapters 1 through 10 from 8:30 - 10:45 am on Friday, December 16th. There will be a review session on Thursday, December 15th after the History Exam.

Chapter 8 & 9 Packet is due to my office box (outside my door) MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH by 8:15 for 3rd and 5th periods, due in class for 6th period, and due by 3:15 for 7th period.  The work you do on this packet will only help your grade; it will not hurt it.  I have posted the packet to the left.  Please download both pdf files (all 8 pages) if you forgot to take it home!  Chapter 8 & 9 Test will be on Tuesday, November 15th (3rd and 5th Periods) and Wednesday, November 16th for (6th & 7th Periods).  Please come to class tomorrow with questions and ready to review!  

Buoyancy Lab Write-up & Ch. 7 Test

***LAB WRITE-UP***
Be sure to include all of your math calculations written out, clearly underneath your table in your lab notes.  I should be able to see each step of each and every calculation.  Also be specific on your procedure steps and don't forget to correct the steps that we did differently than the book.  For the Analyze Results/Drawing Conclusion Section, write your answers in complete sentences and number your answers as they are numbered in the book.  Do not re-write the questions in this section.  Also when writing your conclusion, answer all the questions posed in the Conclusions section of my sample lab write-up.  Good Luck!! 

Test on Chapter 7 on Friday, October 28th.

Semester 2 Exam

Semester 2 Exam: Thursday, May 19 – 8:30 to 10:45.

 

Exam will include Chapters 5-9, 16-18, 20-22.

 

Review Session for All Gill Science Classes (Periods 3, 5, 6, & 7) will be Wednesday, May 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 in the Wunderlich Auditorium.  NO FOOD OR CELL PHONES ALLOWED.  Students who talk and are disruptive during review sessions will be asked to leave immediately.
