Shrink to Fit

If there is only a small amount of text on the last page of a document, you may be able to reduce the number of pages by choosing Shrink to Fit in print preview. 

This feature::

• works best with documents that contain only a few pages

• decreases the font size of each font used

• does not decrease size of graphics

Shrink to Fit:

1. Open Word Document

2. On Standard Toolbar, select Print Preview

3. On the Print Preview Toolbar, select Shrink to Fit

ÕThe Shrink to Fit operation can be undone by clicking Undo Shrink to Fit on the Edit menu. However, after you save the document and close it, you will not have the Undo Shrink to Fit option.
