Know where you are printing: ·
Do not just
go to the print icon (Although doing this should take you to the default
printer, sometimes it does not. So,
go to FILE, PRINT so that you have the option to select your printer.) · If you are in the LS lab (room 107) or on the computers beside the studyhall, you should print to the default black and white printer located in the lab.
. ·
If you need
to be printing in color from those locations, you will need to change
your printer called COLOR. ·
If you are
in the Library or Math room, please make sure you are going to those
printers. Pick
up what you have printed: ·
If you are
printing from the studyhall to the lab and there is a class in session in
the lab, please wait until class is over before picking up what you have
printed. ·
Pick up
what you have printed in the lab by the end of the day, each morning
remaining papers will be disposed of. If
a paper does not print, check the following: ·
Go to FILE,
PRINT again or go to START, PRINTERS & FAXES
to make sure you have printed to the correct printer (Do not
reprint.) ·
Go to the
printer and make sure it has paper and ink. Replace them if necessary. If
you are unsure of how to do this, ask Mrs. Balton to show you how. Double-sided
printing: ·
Should only
be done while you are in the lab (do not do while at computers in hall) ·
Let others
in lab know you are in the process of printing double-sided. ·
If you are
unsure of how to place your paper back into the printer, ask Mrs. Balton
to show you how. |
